SCHOOL: WHERE SPORTS AND PHYSICAL EDUCATION BECOME A WAY OF LIFE

In accordance with the Academic Policy of Alpamys School, physical education and sports play a crucial role in promoting students’ health and active lifestyle.

One of the key goals of the school’s physical education and sports program is to help students understand the importance and necessity of regular physical activity. Engaging in sports on a regular basis improves students’ concentration, boosts self-confidence, stimulates mental activity, and enhances self-esteem.

FACILITIES FOR SPORTS AND PHYSICAL EDUCATION AT ALPAMYS SCHOOL

The school provides all necessary conditions to support students’ well-being, including:

  • Two sports halls equipped with all necessary facilities
  • A climbing wall
  • Two swimming pools (12 meters and 25 meters in length)
  • Recreational play areas both inside school corridors and in the schoolyard

PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASSES AT SCHOOL

Physical education at Alpamys School is an essential part of the curriculum for Grades 1-11. Our PE teachers work hard to create an engaging environment where every lesson becomes exciting and beneficial for students’ development.

According to the established standards, physical education classes are held three times a week:

  • Two PE lessons
  • One swimming lesson

A variety of physical activities are included in the program. Students are allowed to participate in classes only after being familiarized with the safety regulations.

OUTDOOR WALKS

Outdoor walks are an integral part of the daily schedule for students in Grades 1-11. Every day, students spend at least 30 minutes outdoors, typically in the afternoon.

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Students participate in various sports clubs and health-focused events, such as:

  • “Sports Family” competitions
  • Health Days
  • Relay races and tournaments
  • School championships

Our students actively compete in city and national-level tournaments, where they achieve top rankings.
